Why we came to Thailand?
When we got married in 2005 God was preparing
our hearts to go out to server him in other country we felt the calling of the
Lord to the mission field.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord,
saying:
“Whom shall I send, and who will go
for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Isaiah 6:8
It was until May, 2008 when we could came to
Asia. When the cyclone slammed Myanmar our church organized a medical relief to
be send. First we stayed for a few days in Thailand and after that we got to
Myanmar. We served there for three weeks and then we went to the city of Chiang
Mai in Thailand. We started to serve in a new children’s home called (HFT), we
joined the founder team, that are our friends and brothers in Christ from the
same church in Mexico, the children here are at risk of human traffic.
We were part of this labor and take care of the
children and we feel the confirmation to the call of God to stay here to serve.
Here we look after all the needs of the children, we are their family, teaching
them about Jesus and look for the means to send them school and have a better
future. To be in Thailand has not been easy, because all our life we lived in
Mexico, the adaptation process has been tough, culture, language and food are
so different than our home country. But we have learned to adapt and to trust
in God every day of our lives.
We have two children, my first born Samuel, 5
and our adopted son Daniel, 4 from this foster home, Ana is homeschooling them
and learning Spanish, English and Thai. Some brothers in Christ and our family
in Mexico have supported us all these years paying our car monthly payment and supporting
us when we are in emergency, or for medical care, we are very thankful with God
and with them for caring of our needs. Now we live in the mission home for
about 8 years and we are going to be here until Gods will.
We encourage you to be part as well, with your
prayers, supporting us, sponsoring one of our children in their education and for
our medical care. Please pray for Joseph as he hasn’t been with well health,
still suffering digestion problems, since 2 years ago, reflux and dysphagia, he
is losing weight, we have served in the Children’s Home for 8 years giving all
our being, now our bodies are not well at all, we need so much to get new
vision, have the strength from the Lord to continue serving here.
Thank you, in the Love of Christ

harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for
they are already white for harvest!”
